    ABOUT THE OWNER

My name is Brian Rauser and I am the founder of Rauser Builders. I consider myself fortunate to be have achieved my boyhood dream of becoming a builder with the added bonus of building in Gallatin Valley.

I grew up in Helena, Montana with a hard-charging builder father and grandfathers that were each talented hands-on mentors, one an electrician and one a mechanic. By the luck of genetics, I managed to receive many of their aptitudes. Growing up on job sites and in the shop, I learned an immeasurable depth and breadth of skills. These men also modeled an incredible work ethic paired with honesty that I consider a family legacy to honor and continue.

Knowing I wanted to run my own company, I earned a degree in Business Finance from MSU. While I worked my way through college, I was hired by true craftspeople who helped me hone my framing and finish carpentry skills; I then worked in excavation and site work for many years.

I have worked exclusively in construction from youth to adulthood. I worked on some of the first homes in Moonlight Basin, Yellowstone Club, and Spanish Peaks- building roads just to get to the sites. I have worked for large companies running multi-million dollar projects, strengthening my management skills, and learning to juggle the multiple arms of huge projects. My goal was always, and still is, to come in on time, on budget with client expectations fully met, if not exceeded.

Building and creating is what drives me, but what sustains me is my wife (and business partner) of 20 years, and our three mostly grown sons. When not at work, we are usually exploring, skiing, hunting, or camping.

We are happy to talk with you about any project, supply references, and see if we are a good fit to work with you.
